英語カバーレターの書き方
英語の履歴書にはカバーレターを付けた方が良いと聞いたが、どんな構成で、どんな内容を書けばよいのだろう・・・。
応募者のスキルレベルが同じとき、カバーレターの内容が採用者の注意を惹きます。応募する会社のポジションで働きたいと思っている「強い意志」を説得力のあるカバーレターで示しましょう。

ヘッダー部分に応募者の氏名、現在の役職、電子メールアドレス、電話番号、住所、その他個人のホームページやSNSの情報を記載します。

③ Opening Paragraph / 冒頭の段落
冒頭の部分では、採用担当者の注意を引く簡潔な言葉で、自分の経験を会社のために役立てたい強い思いを含めます。

④ The Body / 経験の要約と役職に応募する理由
まず、応募者の経験の要約を記載します。
Having more than 10 years of work experience within the Project Management and Marketing Industry. In my latest company, from the planning office I engaged in planning and management for a professional food business and worked with a subcontracted company.
次に、現職での成果や身に着けたスキルを列挙し、なぜ応募する役職に適合しているかを示します。
The main achievements that I had in my previous position, that are highly relevant to your specific case and prove the value to your team are;
- Improved the existing strategy to incorporate the latest technological changes to help the organization expand in 3 different sectors in Japan
- Created over 5 new social media campaigns which increased the engagement (shares and comments) of our clients with over 500%

そして、応募する会社について知っていること、これまでの仕事の経験とスキルはその仕事にどのように関連しているか、以前どのような類似の業界または役職で働いたことがあるか、などなど具体的に記載します。
In addition to this, my former work in a tech start-up for which I was managing independently the whole marketing department gave me the tremendous insights into your current targeting challenges for expanding in new industries.

カバーレターの締めくくりです。
⑤ Closing Paragraph / 結びの段落
仕事の機会があることに感謝を述べ、自分から連絡をするのか、それとも連絡が欲しいのかを記載します。
